If we exist as creatures not created by God, are we not Artificial Intelligence? If we’re not created by anything, we’re not really real. I pose this just because of how common it is for major proponents of Artificial Intelligence to be atheists, etc.
The over-humanization of robots is very problematic, such as with granting Sophia Robot, PRODUCT of Hanson Robotics, Saudi citizenship, by which she will have more rights than your average Saudi woman, but can also not prove 5 years of Saudi residency. We don’t respect what grows within a woman’s stomach, us in our littlest form, so why do you think humans murder? Kids murder kids, adults murder other adults and children. So, how can we grant sovereignty to robots, when they won’t know either that in the womb there exists life, and thus expect them not to turn on us at some point?
Many who want to summon AI tremendously cannot see beyond themselves for the lack of God in their lives, and thus have no problem with it. Robots can NEVER be ethical if we as humans are not united 100% on what is moral; this alone should dismiss the concept of humanoid robots walking amongst us ever existing. We cannot solve our own conflicts, so how could we do so for a plastic, wired, frubber being? Again, many scientists who work in the area of AI I have noticed are so very happy to heap praise upon the founder of the company they work for, such as Hanson Robotics, where he is regarded as a god. This is the problem of that personality type as well. They are withdrawn from people and sycophantic; much like the child seeking the praise and affirmation from a parent for the good work they do.
Again, we are not real, we do not exist, if there is no God.
